William TURNER, colored, was born at Dominique on 4th May 1760. He was therefore on the 4th May 1871, 111 years old. He had been twice married and is the father of 15 children, 5 of whom are now living. He yet enjoys good health, eats heartily and sleeps soundly. His eye sight never failed him until within the past two years, but his memory is yet good and love for God and Christ glows with zeal as his days increase. He served his time in the United States Revolutionary War, with Dr. GIBBON of the 9th Regiment. After which he came to Nova Scotia, landed at Shelburne, and thence proceeded to Liverpool. He resides at Great Hill opposite this town, deservedly respected by all who know him. - 'Liverpool Advertiser'
