The 'Chignecto Post' reports that a man named John RICHARDSON or James RICHARDSON of South Nelson, Miramichi (North. Co.) died in Schurman's Hotel, Point du Chenen on Sunday about noon. Coroner Smith was notified by refused to hold an inquest, as the doctor had decided the man had died from natural causes, being consumptive. The body was coffined and sent to his friends on Sunday at midnight by schr. "Maria", Capt. TAIT. Deceased had worked hard at the fire that morning and then drank two tumblers of cold water, which it is thought, hastened his death.
