George IRVINE of Fairville (St. John) cripples two marauders. Joseph DIXON and Henry ALLAN, alias James O'BRIEN, two men well known in police circles, are in jail and both are suffering from bullet wounds. The wounds are the result of an unsuccessful attempt to burglarize the store of George Irvine at Fairville at an early hour this morn. (see original)
