One of the oldest resident of Chatham (North. Co.) Arthur JOHNSTON, died Tuesday morn., 6 o'clock, age 77. Mr. Johnston served for 21 years in the British army 2nd Regt. and has three good conduct and service medals, his services being chiefly in India. He has lived for more than thirty years in Chatham and drawn the pension to which he was entiltled during that time. - 'Advance' D.T. - age 21 years 6 mos., age 73
