A sad shock to the community was felt Saturday by the annoucement that Howard E. BISHOP, who had been out gunning near Daniel's station, had fallen on the ice and benn drowned. The body was not discovered until after the tide went out. It is supposed he was attempting to board the "Victory" which was laid near the shore. None of the hands working on the vessel serm to have been aware of young Bishop's presence.
