All classes of life assembled at the residence of the late James McNICHOL, corner Pitt Street and Elliot Row to attend his obsequies. From the house the remains were conveyed to Trinity Church, the procession being headed by the Grand Lodge of Masons. Rev. Canon Brigstocke, rector, assisted by Rev. Eatough, curate, conducted the burial services in the church. The remains were taken to Rural (Fernhill) Cemetery and placed in the vault. The pall bearers were Judge TUCK, John D. SHORT, William VASSIE, Wm R. RUSSELL, Robt. McADOO and William L. PRINCE.
