We regret to record this morn. the death of Thomas CORBETT which occurred at his home Sussex Vale (Kings Co.) Monday afternoon, age 83. He was born in County Limerick, Ireland and came to this country, landing at Miramichi in 1825, then being a young man of 21 years. He was an old and experienced railway man, first worked on the Windsor & Annapolis Railway, then on the European & North American Railway (now part of the Intercolonial). Deceased leaves a considerable family connection. One son, Thomas Corbett of Moncton, an I.C.R. Conductor, another son section foreman at Moncton and two daughters, one Mrs. W.J. HAMILTON, Amherst, N.S. and the other Mrs. QUIRK, Sussex.
