The trial of Charles Gustavus ANDERSON, William TREVASKIS (otherwise called William JOHNSTON), George JONES and William HAZELTON, four of the crew of barque "Saladin" for the crime of piracy and murder on the high seas took place at Halifax, N.S. Thursday resulted in a verdict of GUILTY on their own confession. On Friday Court sat for two others charged with taking part in the murder of Capt. FIELDING and his son, but as they were compelled, for their own protection, to throw FIELDING overboard after he had been killed by the others, the jury returned a verdict of NOT GUILTY
