Joseph RICHARDSON, belonging to Ramsey, Isle of Man, but who has lived at Bridgewater, N.S. upwards of twelve years, lately received news that the sum of 5,000 had been left to him by some near relation. $250 was sent him to pay his way home and he left Monday enroute for Isle of Man. He has worked as a stevedore. He was at one time a soldier in the British army, but deserted. The jubilee year, however, brought him his pardon.
