The Wedding of James Murray KAY, Esq., Manager of the St. John & Maine Railway to Miss Mary Freeland PRENTISS of Bangor (Maine) today. Miss Prentiss is the daughter of Mrs. E.H. PRENTISS and resides at the elegant mansion of Elmbank at the corner of Kenduskeag Ave. and Division St. James Murray Kay is a native of England and was engaged in the barking business in London. In 1875 he was sent to New Brunswick in the interest of the English bondholders of the Western Extension of the European and North American Railway. The name of the division was finally changed to St. John & Maine Railway Co. and Mr. Kay assumed the duties of Trustee and Manager. (see original - names of every guest and what each wore)
