A pleasant affair occurred at the residence of John BURPEE, Wednesday eve., when his daughter, Lizzie BURPEE was united in wedlock to Geo. SMITH, Jacksonville (Carleton Co.). Rev. J.H. Coy officiated. The bridesmaid was Miss Carrie KITCHEN, the maid of honor, Miss Sadie EVERETT, Fredericton. Fred BURPEE, brother of the bride, supported the groom. (see original for guests and gifts)
