A.C.A. WELLS, father of W.W. WELLS of Moncton, died at his residence Baie Verte, after a brief illness of pneumonia. Mr. Wells was known in this city as proprietor of the Revere House previous to the fire of 1877. While in the city he was an active member of the Germain St. Methodist Church and for several years was superintendent of the Sabbath school. Deceased leaves a family of five as follows: Mrs. James S. FLAGLOR of this city; Mrs. WATSON, New Haven; Thornton WELLS, I.C.R., Moncton; W.W. WELLS, barrister, Moncton; and Gilbert WELLS, school teacher at Baie Verte. A sister of the deceased is now visiting Carleton. The death of A.C.A.
