A marriage of more than usual interest attracted large attendance to Queen Square Methodist Church last eve. at 6 o'clock, the principals being Clarence W. DEFOREST and Miss Mary C. THOMAS youngest d/o late James U. THOMAS. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Dr. Pope. H.V. COOPER was best man and Miss Maggie McLEAN, bridesmaid. After the service the guests were entertained at Mrs. J.U. Thomas.
