Salmon Creek, March 8 - Death has visited this district and carried away two respected residents. One of these, Miss Hannah WASSON, died Wednesday March 1st after a lingering illness. The deceased was a member of the Baptist church and has resided with her brother-in-law, H.M. FOWLER, for a number of years. She leaves two sisters, a number of brothers and a sorrowing father. The other, Mrs. Wm HIGGINS, died Saturday March 3rd. A complicatuon of disease and old age claimed her as their victim, she having lived the alloted time appointed to mortals. The deceased leaves a large number of friends and relatives. Many of the latter are scattered through the United States. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
