Yesterday about 1 o'clock the citizens of Fredericton were startled to hear of the sudden death of one of the oldest inhabitants of the city, Daniel CASEY. The deceased, who was attended by Dr. Seery, died yesterday morn at ten minutes to 12, at the age of 80 years 5 mos. The late Daniel Casey was born at St. John and was for many years chief engineer and road surveyor in this city. The funeral will take place 4 o'clok tomorrow.
