The 'Eastport Sentinel' says that Capt. James DOUGHTY of Deer Island (Charlotte Co.) N.B. died Saturday morn. at his home on Deer Island of small pox. Capt. DOUGHTY came from Boston last week in his schr. "Red Beach" and was sick while in this place, but transacted his business and went home in an an open boat during the snow dtorm of Wednesday.
