The following remarkable coincidence in the lives of two worthy farmers is published by the Bridgetown, N.S. 'Monitor'. Joseph F. PALMER and brother S. Edward PALMER, living in Salem, a short distance above Spa Springs, intend to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of their marriage 1st Jan. 1863. Fifty years ago the two brothers married two sisters, Phoebe CHESLEY and Caroline CHESLEY daughters of the late Samuel CHESLEY, by Rev. James G. Hennigar, a Methodist minister then residing at Bridgewater, N.B. At the same day and at the same hour the occurrence took place on Sunday and the anniversary also fell on Sunday. The first had eleven children, six of whom are living; the latter, ten, but only two now living. Joseph was 75 years old last October; his brother, 73 last August, both prosperous and comfortable.
