The 'Calais Advertiser' says - Edward MURPHY, a brick layer, was found dead in the rear of Robertson's farm about half a mile from the main road late yesterday afternoon. He came from Fredericton to this place to work on the St. Croix Hall, now building. Being addicted to strong drink he went to St. Stephen (Charlotte Co.) and got on a regular drunk and kept on it several days, when he got back to this side and was found lying on the street. He was taken up and put in the Lock-up, two or three days till he got pretty well sobered off, when he was let go. That was a fortnight ago, since which time he had not been seen till he was found above as stated. MURPHY has a wife and children living in Fredericton.
