It becomes our sad duty to chronicle the death of Winthrop ROBINSON, Esq. which occurred at his residence Tuesday last after a short illness of about a week. The deceased was 87 years old and had always lived in Harvey (Albert Co.) being the son of the late Jonathan ROBINSON, one of the early settlers of this place. He was twice married, his first wife being the daughter of Council TURNER of Dorchester and his second, a daughter of the late Elisha PECK, Esq. of Hopewell. Two sons and two daughters survivie him, Jonathan ROBINSON, Elisha ROBINSON, Emma ROBINSON and Laura ROBINSON and one aged sister, Mrs. W.J. REID. He was known to be quiet and retiring in his disposition, being thoroughly honest and upright in all his dealings. The funeral took place Friday. The pall bearers were Robert SMITH, W.H.A. CASEY, C.F. DOW, Andrew BISHOP, Matthew STEEVES and Gilbert BREWSTER. The remains were interred in the H.B.V. (Bay View) Cemetery.
