The death of Thomas McEWEN, a respected Monctonian, occurred at Salisbury on Saturday. He was engaged in shipbuilding at the time of his illness of which he had two attacks. When first taken he came to Moncton where his family reside and had so far recovered as to be able to attend his business. Returning to Salisbury he suffered a relapse from which he never recovered. The disease was an affection of the brain. Mr. McEwen was in his 56th year. The deceased will be buried at Boundary Creek and the funeral takes place at the residence of his son-in-law, E.C. COLE, Salisbury, 3:30 o'clock train today.
