A melancholy casualty took place Monday night, Alexander s/o Major John McBEAN of the Pennyock (York Co.) was returning home with his team, one of the wheels came off, and he was thrown to the ground and crushed to death instantaneously by the Mill machinery with which his wagon was loaded. The fatal accident took place within a mile from his home; left wife, four children. - "Headquarters"
