On Wednesday Dr. C.A. ALLEN held an inquest into the circumstances surrounding the death of the little s/o Edwin SPENCE of Cape Tormentine (West. Co.). The witnesses called were Dr. Fred GOODEN, Edwin SPENCE, Mrs. Edwin SPENCE, Stanley ALLEN and Luther TRENHOLM. Dr. Gooden stated that there were symptoms of alcoholic poisoning and also symptoms of pneumonia and expressed doubts as to the direct cause of death. The jury returned a verdict that from the evidence they were unable to determine the cause of death.
