John CLARK died at his residence Lancaster Heights (St. John) this morn. He was a son of the late John Saunders CLARK, one of the city pioneers and was born in Carleton in 1800. A builder of roads, wharves, bridges, ships, mills, millowner, merchant and farmer, Mr. Clark lived a life of great activity. When his present residence at Lancaster was erected, it was the only place of the kind on a road which is now covered with handsome residences. He leaves a widow and five sons, three of whom succeeded to their father's milling business some time ago, one is farming in Massachusetts and the other is Rev. John A. CLARK
