Mrs. WELDON, wife of the member for Albert Co., is a great-granddaughter of Dr. Mather BYLES, the first rector of Trinity Church, St. John. A daughter of Dr. Byles married Major HARE of the 27th Regt. who was on this station in the early part of the century. Major Hare was one of a large family of soldiers, four of whom fough at Waterloo. Not long after he left this country, Major Hare was killed at his home in Ireland. This happened in 1822, the year of the 'White-boys' organization, when Ireland was in a disturbed condition. Dr. WELDON was married at Halifax last Thursday to Louisa F. HARE d/o William HARE, Dartmouth, N.S.
