An inquest was held 4th inst. before John McKenna, Esq., Coroner, Bathurst (Glouc. Co.) on the body of William LONG, a man who went there with his family July last and selected a place for his new home on the Little River, 7 or 8 miles from Bathurst. He changed his mind, however, as he was making preparations to return to St. John with his family. The poor man left his family on the morn. of 3rd for the purpose of disposing of some boards which he had on hand, and was found dead the following day about 3 miles from town, apparently on his way home; left wife, family.
