A bad case of fraud and forgery has recently come to light in Halifax. Archibald PATTERSON, Inspector of Inland Revenue, formerly a member of the Legislative Council of Nova Scotia, which position he had to resign owing to becoming a bankrupt, an active member of the Presbyterian Church and the Y.M.C.A. Assoc., has absconded, leaving a large amount of forged paper behind him in the banks.
