Patrick CANTY some years ago, placed Wm BURROWS, his grand child, in the Catholic Orphan Asylum, agreeing to pay $1 per week for its support. As he did not pay the sum agreed upon, the child was given away from the asylum to Patrick MARTIN, Sussex (Kings Co.) Recently the grandfather sought to recover the lad, now 11 years old, and applied to Judge Duff. (see original)
