An inquest was held in the Military Hospital Thursday morn. on the bodies of two Artillerymen killed while firing a salute on the Citadel Wednesday. Verdict: That James McHUGH and Robert BENNET came to their death accidentally by the premature explosion of a cartridge which they were in the act of ramming on Citadel Hill, July 1st, 1868.
