On Sunday afternoon, Titus HICKS s/o Alfred HICKS, George GALLAGHER, Arthur ESTABROOKS and Stanley TAIT and Walter TAIT were bathing in Mariner Hick's mill pond at Midgic (West. Co.). Young Hicks was taken with a cramp, it is supposed, and before assistance could reach him, he was drowned. After grappling for nearly an hour the body was found, but life was extinct.
