Carlisle (Carleton Co.) Jan. 13th - Sympathy is extended to Mr. and Mrs. Parran SHAW for the loss of their only son David Hermon SHAW who died Sunday eve. 22nd ult., age 14. Early in June last, the deceased complained of his right leg hurting just above the knee - the result he thought of a kick he had received from a mule some time before. (see original)
