At horrible accident took place at McDonald's Point (Queens Co.) 3rd inst. which resulted in the death of W.S. MOFFATT of that place who had charge of a grist mill owned by George DAY. The body was found on Thursday by James W. BELYEA who had come to the mill with a grist. The mill was still running and the accident was believed to have occurred the day previous. As discovered the right arm was terribly mangled and wrapped around the shaft of the bolt. A view of the surroundings at the time the body was observed would suggest that while grinding Mr. Moffatt had discovered a wate of flour in its passage to the bolt, and got upon a barrel to remedy the defect with the above results stated. Owing to the absence of the family, the body remained undiscovered for some hours.
