Jarvis W. HARTT, Esq., an old citizen of St. John and Principal of the High School died Monday at the house of Mrs. Mary REID where he had been boarding since his dwelling was burned a few weeks ago. An inquest was held by Coroner Earle and Dr. Botsford, Mr. Hartt's family physician stated that in his opinion death was caused by embolism of the heart.
