Wednesday of last week about 16 o'clock, William STEVENS of Harvey Point (Albert Co.), one of the workmen on the new vessel at the Bank, fell into the hold, a distance of about ten feet and was instantly killed. He fell on a chopping-block on the keelson striking first on his jaw, breaking his jaw and neck. Deceased was about 62 years of age. He leaves a widow and eight children. (see original)
