By the explosion of the boilers of the Peninsula Manufacturing Co.'s mill at North Muskegon, Michigan, 4th inst., John CONNORS, age 52, his son John, age 14, and Freddie CONNORS, age 6 were instantly killed. Connors, who was a native of Carleton (St. John), moved to Muskegon with his family some time ago to work in the mill, one of the owners of which is H.S. SERVOSS, for some time in business at Sand Point, Carleton. Freddie had just left the house opposite the factory when the explosion took place and was crushed beneath a piece of the engine house. All the male members of the family were killed, Mrs. Connors and her daughter alone surviving.
