d. Dr. James R. FITCH, at Wolfville, N.S., Christmas Day. The deceased was the eldest s/o late Simon FITCH and Sophia DEWOLF d/o late Judge Elisha DEWOLF, Wolfville. Dr. Fitch graduated in medicine in 1831 at the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently resided at Wilmot and Wolfville, N.S. and St. John, N.B. He retired from active practice eight years ago and four years later he returned to Wolfville. He married Sarah GRANT d/o late Michael GRANT of Kempt, N.S., by whom he had four children, two of whom, Dr. J.N. FITCH and one daughter survive him. He was a brother of Dr. Simon Fitch of Halifax and Mrs. J.W. BAIES and Mrs. DeBLOIS widow of Rev. Dr. DeBLOIS, Wolfville. - 'Telegraph'
