Yellow fever is prevalent at Peurto Rico at present. Gilbert SMITH of Barrington, N.S., mate of schr. "Playfair" of Harborville, N.S. died at Ponce at 2nd inst. and news was received on Tuesday of the death of Capt. Alfred BELFONTAINE of brigatine "Orloff" of Arichat, C.B. - both of that disease.
