Oak Hill (Charlotte Co.) - Christopher ATKINSON of Bay Verte (West. Co.) died at his residence there, 7th inst. He leaves one daughter, Miss Annie J. ATKINSON of Manchester, N.H. and eight sons, Dr. ATKINSON of Charlotte; Dr. M.C. ATKINSON, Carleton; H.N. ATKINSON, barrister, Texas; J.H. ATKINSON, farmer, Presque Isle, Me.; Arthur W. ATKINSON, Lynn, Mass.; A.C. ATKINSON, carriage builder, Minneapolis; Lewis ATKINSON, St. John and E.P. ATKINSON, Bay Verte. The deceased had been for many years a consistent member of the Presbyterian Church. His wife, Charlotte ATKINSON, died a few years ago. His remains were interred in the Port Elgin cemetery, Monday last.
