The 'Record' today mentions the death of Mary Olive HAMMOND eldest d/o J.B. HAMMOND and C.K. HAMMOND, which sad event occurred at Hampton Village, 7th inst. Deceased was 23 years of age. Many of the Sussex people remember this young lady when as a little girl she attended our school. Miss Hammond was a victim of consumption. Only a few months have elapsed since her younger sister died of the dread disease.
