There was quite a murmur of surprise when it was noised abroad this morn. that Miss Annie May GRIEVES only d/o late John B. GRIEVES of the Waverly Hotel, Regent Street and Harry Edgar DEWAR, formerly of Amherst, N.S. and now an employee in Edgecombe & Sons factory, this city, were married last night. The ceremony was performed in the Cathedral at 9 o'clock by Rev. Whally. Miss Jeannette ROSBOROUGH acted as bridesmaid while the groom was unsupported. They will be absent about ten days and on their return will take up their residence in the Waverly Hotel.
