Sussex (Kings Co.) May 7 - An inquest was held in Sussex Police office before Coroner J.N. Burnett, M.D. The jury was composed of W.H. WHITE, foreman, F.W. FOWLER, William ROACH, Charles STUBBS, John SPROUL, E. Bliss McLEOD, Ariel R. PRESCOTT. Verdict: That Hugh BYRNE came to his death by drinking poison called carbonic acid from his own hand from a cup on a stove in William FAIRWEATHER's drug store as a disinfectant, apparently not knowing what it contained.
