d. Carleton (St. John) 19th inst., Mrs. relict of George STEVENS, age 64, only surviving d/o late Wm AUSTIN and sister of Elder J.C. AUSTIN. She was awakened under the preaching of Rev. Crosscomb, Methodist Preacher who laboured in Saint John more than 40 years ago and attended Methodist preaching regularly until she with her husband moved to the Salmon River, Grand Lake (Queens Co.).
