Less than three weeks ago, Alex. CAMPBELL left the North End, St. John for the Maine woods, where he had been engaged to work in a lumbering camp and he now lies in the home of his friends awaiting his internment which takes place today. He was working in the camp of E.E. Ring, Cooper Brook some 30 miles from Katahdin iron works, his brother James CAMPBELL being employed at the same camp. The body was brought to St. John. Deceased was 38 years of age, unmarried and formerly lived in Richibucto (Kent Co.). He has several relatives living in St. John. (see original for account of accident)
