On Thursday night between 11 and 12 o'clock, Thomas JOHNSON, Boatswain's Mate of Ship "Denmark", lying at Merritts Wharf, while attempting to go on baord his vessel, fell between the ship and the wharf and was drowned. The deceased was a native of New Jersey, U.S., about 36 years of age. Up to a late hour last night the body had not been found.
