Geo. C. HOWARD, an old time actor, died in Cambridge, Mass. on Tuesday. Howard was born in Halifax in 1820 and made his debut in 1838 at the Chestnut street theater in Philadelphia. In 1843 he played an engagement in the Bowery Theatre, New York. His wife, Caroline FOX, a native of Boston, won considerable reputation in juvenile parts throughout New England and their daughter, Lizzie Cordelia HOWARD was for years famous in the part of Eva in Uncle Tom's Cabin. Mr. Howard's widow, his daughter and two sons survive him. - Boston Journal (see original for career)
