On Wednesday 1st inst., William CAMERON, Alexander DICKSON and Farquhar MATHESON left Huntington's Brick yard and proceeded across the river and had only gone a short distance when the boat upset and CAMERON and DICKSON were drowned in attempting to swim ashore. MATHESON, not knowing how to swim, held onto the boat and was rescued by Angus McDOUGALL who heard him holloaing from his workshop. The body of DICKSON was discovered Wednesday night and CAMERON's on Thursday morn. They were both young men and married. - 'Capr Breton Times'
