David LYON of the Long Reach (Kings Co.) said to a 'Globe' reporter, 'I can give you something that none of the papers have. Both my grandfathers were captains in the Revolutionary war, and I have my grandfather's sword, ready to do service again, if need be. On the one side is Capt. Abraham BELYEA and on the other Capt. Joseph LYON.'
