A man by name of Hugh McELROY in the employment of Cornelius McINTYRE in this parish, had his hat blown off his head by a gust of wind on Saturday night last. In an attempt to recover his hat, he fell to the ground sustaining fatal injuries. He lingered untill painful agony until about two o'clock on Sunday morn. whene he died.
