A large number of persons drove up to Spring Hill (York Co.) yesterday to pay the last tribute of respect to the late Thomas MURRAY, Esq. The funeral took place at 5:30 p.m. The pall bearers were Hon. Chief Justice ALLEN, S.D. MacPHERSON and Spafford BARKER from Fredericton city and John CAMBER, Wm SEGEE and James CAMPBELL, Esq. of Kingsclear. The service at the church was by Rev. G.G. Roberts, Rector of Fredericton. Mr. Murray had been largely engaged in lumbering and milling for many years and had gained a handsome fortune. Wm H. MURRAY, his nephew, will continue the business. A number of friends of the deceased came from St. John to attend the funeral. Among the number were James HOLLY and Wm BARNHILL, Esqs.
