On Friday morn. last an accident happened to a train on the I.C.R. hauled by two engines shortly after leaving Sussex enroute to St. John. By the spreading of the rail the entire train was thrown from the track and the locomotive was completely capsized, instantly killing the engineer, Thomas GAMMON of Sussex (Kings Co.) The fireman, Robt. McMANN, was pretty badly hurt, but of the other 30 persons on the train none was seriously injured. The engineer is said to have stuck to his post endeavoring to stop the train; left wife, one child.
