A highly interesting event took place Wednesday at the residence of D.W. DOUGLAS, Esq. of Amherst when John H. HICKMAN of Dorchester and Theresa HAY d/o J.M. HAY, Esq, formerly manager of the Bank of Nova Scotia, were united in marriage. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. Roy Campbell, Rural Dean, Dorchester, assisted by Rev. V.E. Harris, Amherst.
